 The communication with the teachers is personal and open. I speak to the teachers and the pricncipal whenever I have a concern. My kids love the school. The child in grade 2 wishes for karate and swimming for extra mural activities. The music teacher is Excellent.

 I have been using the services since both my kids were 3 months old. what I like most about the creche is the love and care that my kids recieve and the teaching of different languages. I am learning from my 5 year old. This is the only creche that accommodates children at the hours that SAA creche operates. Godmother - The Principal is very loving and sees to the needs of kids. I sometimes sit at the creche till late at night waiting for transport and I have observed the care given to the kids. Them most important thing is that children are loved and comfortable in their surroundings. SAA Creche has really been there for me and made my life a whole lot, less stressful. THANK YOU!!

 I like their school/ creche hours. they are convinient with my working hours. i like the fact that they know how to communicate with a child who doesnt understand english. i love the friendlyness of the staff at creche. i also love the fact that the kids dont feel cold in winter, because their aircons are working perfectly. i like tha fact that they pray in the mornings. they really taught my son how to sing and pray.

7. Tell us what you like least about the SAA Creche?

 The entrance for the gate has been closed due to malfunctioning. I have done several follow ups and it is so time consuming as we have to drop off at the crew side and pick up which takes an additional 10-15 minutes in the morning and afternoon. Please can someone follow up with the progress of fixing the gate as i have tried on several occasions. no joy

 The poor management which is characterised by lack of decision making. I still don't understand why parents are allowed to bring their kids to school without paying a cent. Several parents removed their children from the crèche because the school could not address abuse claims made by kids.

 1. the security gate is seldom working 2. the whole administration/registration including finance is manual which is wasting time .I pay via internet banking but I still have to submit proof manually 3. School fees increase was 40% from R650 to R900 how is this calculated ? We are expecting annual increase but it must meet CPI . 4. The playground is scratching kids , not in condition at all 5. There are no toys for them to play with inside , children are expected to sit down . 6. The facility has not so clean , out of 10 I will give it 2/10 7. In the afternoon children are sitting on the tiles while waiting to be picked up .

The only issue I have is the Gate, Please do something urgently about this. It's inconvenient to go around and time consuming.

 1. I would like to see more effective communication methods being used. 2. the Schools uniform aquisition method is totally out. I am still waiting tfor the uniform from Jan till now some uniform items are still outstanding. I requested my money back no money back either. it's money down the drain, the school is pointing fingers to someone I don't know and never communicated with from the begining.

 i dont like the quantity of food they give our kids, my son is usually hungry and thursty when i pick him up. i also dont like the way that the creche communicates with the parents, i never know what is going on with the creche. one example i can give is that we were told about a photo shoot ( via a letter from the teachers, which i dont have a problem with) for some reason the photo shoot got cancelled, and they never told us about the new date. i send my son to school without uniform and he had to take a picture wearing another childs uniform and i knew that he had a photo shoot after it happened. They normally write the information on a board, so if you miss the information written there you will never know what is happening. My biggest problem with the creche is COMMUNICATION. i feel that im always in the darkness. I also dont like the fact that the gate is always opened. yes they installed a new finger print system and cameras but its useless if the gate is always opened. The parents are to blame on this one, because they never close the gate after opening it.

8. Do you have any recommendations for enhancing the SAA Creche Programme and facilities?

 The play grounds must be enhanced and maintained. The ablution facilities have bad smell most of the time. The introduction of primary grades has obviously necessitated increased capacity.

Staff compliment is a problem , in the afternoon there about 3 classes combined to 2 teachers . They need more teachers 4 . I don't mind paying R900 but I feel it is not meeting expectations over that I must still buy toilet paper and stationery 5. Communication needs to improve , there must be email where we can send proof of payments . This is secure for them too . What if they are robbed if they keep money in the premises . 6.There must be what's up group for parent so that we stay in touch with teachers , where the school is to be closed due to strike we can be sent a communication via whatsup . Last time there was no communication . 7.The exit gate for cars must be open at peak times to avoid congestion and traffic . 8.Ask for donation for old toys from all SAA staff and parents every quarter 9.Buy clean linen and matrasses 10.Get educational videos 12.  A funtional website would help. with all the relavant information, information circulars from time to time. When there is an event post them and photos on the website. This might even save for them on the paper work. Load the form on the site and some parents may download them form there instead of printing.

 i wish that they can remove the gates and put in turn style gates, like the ones that SAA has. this way parents wont be able to leave the gate opened. and it will be harder for a stranger to enter the premisses. i also would like the Gate leading into SAA to be opened because its time consuming to have go around to the creche to fetch a child while there is a gate closer. i wish they can put the extra mural activities in to action, when we register we are told that they have those activities but not even once have i heard my son saying he plays music at ther school, he only talks about soccer.

 1) The qualifications /experience of the teachers /care givers that are employed in the crèche be visible to the parents. 2) Please provide us with an email address so we can send proof of payment. 3) Please do fund raising during the year, and not expect the parents to ask for donations from people or state how much you need extra for whatever events the crèche will be hosting. 4) Afternoon care, pls have more than one person looking after children in the afternoon - let children play outside if the weather allows. 5) The crèche has an unpleasant odour, not sure what is causing it. 6) Please issue (on sale) diaries for children which informs the parents what the children ate, what they did /learnt and if there any incidents to report. These to be completed by teachers daily and parents to sign daily as well. 7) I personally cannot comment on the learning programme as I do not know what they have been learning. 8) I think the crèche owes parents detailed communication on the huge increase in school fees - I think 44% increase is quite high. 9) The crèche to have a website, so we can get all information online, including monthly newsletters.
